JUDAEA, Bar Kochba Revolt. 132-135 CE. Zuz or Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.36 g, 6 h), Year 2 = 133/4 CE. 'Simon' (in Paleo-Hebrew) Grape bunch on vine. Rev. 'Year two of the freedom of Israel' (in Paleo-Hebrew) Palm frond. Hendin 1394. Meshorer 248. Well struck and attractive. The usual traces of overstriking and with some die breaks on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
